From Hannover to Herzogenaurach: SEASCUE's Prize Travels
Emma, Johanna, Julia-Chiara, Katharina, and Nina from the Kaiser Wilhelm and Ratsgymnasium in Hannover won the 2023 business@school Germany final with their business idea "SEASCUE". They were presented with the Schaeffler Special Prize by Corinna Schittenhelm, who was a member of the Executive Board of Schaeffler AG and business@school advisory board member at the time of the handover.
In December, the winning team, accompanied by their teacher Andreas Gockenbach, traveled to Herzogenaurach to claim their special prize. The visit included a factory tour and exciting insights into "the Motion Technology Company" and the Schaeffler Academy. The students from Hannover also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with the team of the dual study programs and got to know the dual study program and the training center first-hand.
Many thanks to our advisory board member Corinna Schittenhelm and to Klaus Studler, Global Head of Apprenticeship Development at Schaeffler, for the exciting morning, the interesting insights, and the organization of the visit, which was impressive:
"SEASCUE and I had two remarkable days at Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach. During the train journey, our conversations kept returning to the factory tour and Schaeffler as a company with its broad offerings for young people, and of course, to our own b@s year," reports Andreas Gockenbach.
